So, other than working two days a week, Tuesdays at Koro H.S. and Fridays at Gulu H.S., I have been doing other things... sorta. This post is about other happenings since being in Gulu.
I tend to be self conscious taking my camera around town for numerous reasons: 1. it's incredibly large therefore attracts attention. 2. I'm trying not to look like a tourist in the town that is my home for the next three months, and 3. It's a pain.
So I don't have as many pictures to share of my everyday life as I'd like, but here are some of other occassions that warranted camera-action.
A friend, Sam, invited us to his sister's house for lunch one day to meet and greet and to play with the cutest baby, Samantha. We passed her around for the majority of the time as she drooled her adorable drool. The cuteness-power of being a baby...

We traveled to Kampala for the weekend to get away. To go out. To pig out. And apparently to end up spending a lot of money. But it was sooo worth it.
These pictures are from Whitney's camera and some snapped by Whitney as well. I left mine at home in Gulu.
The funniest picture from our weekend in Kampala.
Fine dining at a swanky Indian restaurant in the middle of the city and Dustyn in his straw hat.
We also visited the Bahai' Temple again, the only one on the continent of Africa (but to be fair, there is only one per continent).
Probably one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in existence.

Previous picture from visit number 1 of the Bahai in December 2008.
Thought you should see what the temple looks like.
